Volunteering
There are volunteer opportunities throughout the hospital. Clinical and non-clinical departments welcome volunteers as part of their regular staff.
We at Emory Johns Creek Hospital believe that volunteers add a valued dimension to patient care in nearly every hospital department and want to thank you for your interest in becoming a part of the Emory Johns Creek family. We fully recognize that volunteers are an integral part of the care we provide and want you to know we value you, the time you give, and the service you provide our staff, our physicians and our patients. Your hands will touch many hearts.

COLLEGE STUDENTS: College applications for the summer are accepted on a first come, first served basis. For summer 2013, due to the large volume of applications received, no additional applications for 2013 will be accepted. Applications for the summer of 2014 will be accepted after January 1, 2014.

Once we receive your application, you will be contacted by the Auxiliary to schedule an orientation date, after which we will conduct a brief telephone interview. Following your orientation, a full interview will be conducted to learn a little about you and to see where your strengths and desires may fit with the hospital's availabilities and needs. At the interview, you may be given a tour of the various departments where volunteers are placed.
Orientations, which occur 8:30-Noon except as otherwise noted below, will be held on the following dates:
Tuesday, June 4, 2013: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (High School & College Students Only) (CLOSED)
Monday, August 19, 2013: 8:30 a.m. - Noon
Monday, October 21, 2013: 8:30 a.m. - Noon
Monday, January 27, 2014: 8:30 a.m. - Noon
If there is currently a waiting list, you will be notified when an opening for Orientation occurs.

Transport Team - weekday mornings 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and weekday afternoons 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
