Emory Healthcare to buy Emory Johns Creek Hospital
JOHNS CREEK, Ga. (July 9, 2010) Emory Healthcare understands the importance of maintaining a strong local hospital ready to meet the needs of its surrounding communities.
"The transition to 100 percent Emory ownership will occur over a four- to six-month period and should be seamless to patients with little to no impact on day-to-day operations," said John Fox, President and CEO of Emory Healthcare.

The purchase price of Emory Johns Creek Hospital will be determined based on a thorough appraisal process. Emory intends to retain the hospital's employees and leaders.
Emory Johns Creek Hospital President and CEO John Quinlivan said the hospital will continue to serve its community and support the community physicians who have been vital to its growth and development.
