EJCH Offering Diabetes Education Classes 

(Johns Creek, Ga.,)—Emory Johns Creek Hospital announced today it will offer educational classes to help patients with diabetes and their families learn how to effectively manage their health. The classes will be conducted by a certified diabetes educator and are designed to help patients take control of diabetes.

The classes will teach patients about various aspects of managing diabetes, such as blood glucose monitoring, insulin and oral medication administration, and insulin pump training. It will also help patients recognize symptoms of high and low blood sugar and what to do about it, how to manage on days when they’re not feeling well, and much more.
