One of the most important (and the easiest!) things you can do as a physician on staff at Emory Johns Creek is to sign up for our free physician referral service, MedLine.  MedLine is our call center, and the phone number is publicized on all our hospital advertising and marketing materials.  Callers are invited to call in to find out about doctors on staff, including primary care and specialists.  MedLine gives callers the names and contact information for doctors, offers to transfer the call directly to the physician office and can even help set the appointments. 

Physicians are given periodic reports of the number of referrals made to their office.  Complete your MedLine application and fax it to 678.474.8318.

A Great Way to Get in Front of a Community Audience! Our marketing department has several opportunities for you to have a community audience speaking about your area of expertise and interest. 

• We host corporate wellness programs and health fairs at several large corporate offices in Johns Creek.  We welcome the participation of physicians in these, as an exhibitor, screener or consultation expert.
• Many local groups and schools ask for physicians to address their membership about a specific topics. 
• We receive regular requests from media for physicians to comment on or be interviewed for a story.  For example, a news reporter may call and ask to interview a physician about sports injuries.
• Our own hospital-based community education program will include a variety of 'Lunch and Learn"s and "After Supper Seminars" on a wide range of topics.
